WIRE 2024: A Retrospective

For many years, we have been regular exhibitors at WIRE in Düsseldorf, experiencing countless memorable moments. However, this year, following the challenges of the pandemic and a postponed event date, exceeded all expectations. We were overwhelmed by the multitude of visitors from around the globe – both familiar faces and new acquaintances – who approached our stand with genuine interest.

This year, we ventured into uncharted territory in terms of our exhibition stand:
Our objective was to showcase our entire product portfolio in a clear and concise manner. Given the high degree of specialization and customization, several of our machines and systems were brought together in advance. The end result was the representation of the complete wire and cable manufacturing process, with our products depicted as 3D models at a 1:25 scale. Consequently, it was prudent for us to occupy a larger exhibition space this year.

Of course, real machines were also featured prominently:
One of our Highspeed B1500 Taping Units took centre stage, effortlessly demonstrating its capabilities, while a combined flange driven winder ensured the seamless feeding of the materials to be banded.

Additionally, an 80mm Extruder, positioned prominently in the middle of our stand, captivated attention, showcasing our expertise in extrusion. Alongside the extruder, our user-friendly equipment control system, the “KURRE Control & Database System,” garnered significant interest, accessible both via the control panel and its accompanying setup tablet.

KURRE is renowned for its in-house metal manufacturing capabilities, enabling us to achieve a remarkable value-added depth of 90%. A film provided insights into our in-house production processes, carried out by our subsidiary, Kutec – KURRE Technologies. Here, a significant portion of KURRE products is meticulously crafted by experienced professionals using state-of-the-art manufacturing machinery.

In conclusion, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to all our visitors and to everyone involved in the planning and execution of our remarkable exhibition stand. We look forward to reconnecting with you all, at the latest, in April 2026.
