Trial apprenticeship at KURRE

Young apprentices get a taste of what it’s like to be an apprentice for two days

Young people from Saterland and the surrounding area completed a two-day trial apprenticeship at KURRE in Ramsloh at the start of the fall vacations.

Young people from Saterland and the surrounding area completed a two-day trial apprenticeship at KURRE in Ramsloh at the start of the fall vacations. They were able to try their hand at metal construction, mechatronics, electronics, IT and office management. “Our aim is to give the young people an insight into our company and let them test whether the respective job profile really suits them,” says co-owner Silke Plaggenborg (left).

The young people were able to work actively for two days and, above all, had the opportunity to talk to trainees in the company. “Of course, we would be delighted if we were able to inspire one or two people for KURRE and they apply for an apprenticeship with us in 2019,” Plaggenborg continues.

The KURRE Group employs around 180 people at its Ramsloh site, making it one of the five largest employers in Saterland.
