Your responsibilities:
- Creation and adaptation of PLC programs and visualization software with the Tia Portal
- Adaptation of programming/parameterisation of industrial control systems and drive systems e.g. Siemens, Lenze etc.
- Connecting the machines to existing centralised and higher-level ERP / MES systems
- Carrying out service calls, training and support both remotely and on-site at the customer’s premises
- Supporting our technicians in machine maintenance and preparation with software reference
- Independently analyse and rectify faults
What you ideally bring with you:
- Bachelor of Engineering Electrical Engineering /Automation Technology or comparable qualification
- Technical training with professional experience desirable
- Programming knowledge of Siemens S7, WinCC, TIA, CoDeSys
- Experience with fail-safe control systems
- Very good knowledge of German and English
- Good technical comprehension skills
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Experience in the cable and wire industry is an advantage
- Willingness to occasionally work abroad
