Rotarians from Turkey visit KURRE
More than 20 guests from the Turkish city of Bursa, located at the foot of the 2,500-meter-high Uludağ mountain, visited the Oldenburger Münsterland region. A close friendship has connected them with the Rotary Club Friesoythe-Artland-Cloppenburg for over 30 years.
In addition to visiting the Cloppenburg Open-Air Museum and St. Andreas Church, the agenda also included a tour of the KURRE Group.
Managing Director Stefan Plaggenborg guided the guests through the company and enthusiastically explained everything about metal processing and special machine construction for the cable and wire industry. Our visitors were deeply impressed by the size and versatility of our operations.
They were also particularly surprised and impressed by Germany’s dual vocational training system, which was largely unfamiliar to them. To complement the “practical” side with the “theoretical,” the visit concluded with a tour of the vocational school BBS Friesoythe.
Thank you for being our guests!
We are already looking forward to seeing you again.
